AIG Distribution Tech Lead - Senior Full Stack Developer in ku, United States
Job Purpose
Tech Lead – Senior Full Stack Developer proficient in Java , Springboot/cloud and Angular, Micro services architecture who possesses strong experience with hosting applications in Amazon Cloud and EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and Collaborate with business users and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate these into strategies and solutions, have a solid understanding of database management, and possess hands-on experience with migrations from on-premises environments to Amazon Cloud. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Japanese and English
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain dynamic modern web technologies using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Angular, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Migrate applications and databases from on-premises infrastructure to Amazon Cloud, optimizing the deployment for scalability and reliability.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective solutions with overall business strategies.
Deploy and manage applications in Amazon cloud using EKS and other relevant services
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Plan and deliver projects, ensuring they are on time and within budget.
Support business strategy execution by driving IT execution plan.
Lead and deliver technology solutions in alignment with business and IT objectives.
Align with global technology standards, IT architecture to define technology solutions.
Manage a delivery team which consists of both internal and external resources.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders in both English and Japanese, facilitating smooth project execution

Required Skills and Experiences
Educational Qualification
- Recommended to have Bachelor in Computer Science or Information Technology
Specific Qualifications
Japanese language: N3 & above. English business fluency
Mastery in Amazon Cloud, EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service),Open source technology[Java, SpringBoot,Spring Cloud, Angular, React] development frameworks and tools, certification a plus
Solid understanding of Oracle, RDS database management,NoSQL, and possess hands-on experience with migrations from on-premises to cloud.
Total Experience
4+ years in insurance industry experience.
8+ years of full-stack development experience with modern web technologies, such as Angular, Java/J2EE/SpringBoot/Cloud, and Oracle/RDS .
6+ years of hands-on experience in application architecture and design, with expertise in software/enterprise integration principles like 12-factor applications
Strong knowledge of AWS cloud-based technologies, design patterns, and best practices
4+ years of containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
Familiarity with microservices architecture
Strong knowledge of Angular and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) .
Mastery of executive-level communications development and high-degree of comfort in working/communicating with senior business leaders.
Self-starter that is comfortable working in a dynamic program environment that includes a degree of ambiguity. Willing to dive in as part of the team to get the job done.
Experience and understanding of DevOps, DevSecOps, Test Automation, Application Modernization is a plus.
Strong technical knowledge of digital environments including Frontend technologies, APIs, Messaging, Databases, Big Data, Networks and their interactions is a plus.
