Job Purpose

• Responsible for PAS developments including governance of vendors to deliver solutions

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for PAS developments from end-to-end including support IT/ST/UAT as needed

• Contribute to PAS transformation program in Japan and work with architecture team to conclude on best-fit solution

• Provide guidance to other development team members as needed

• Communicate and guide vendor development team to ensure the direction and delivery quality

Required Skills and Experiences

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor of Science Degree – Computer Science or related field

Specific Qualifications

• Japanese language: N3 & above. English business fluency

Total Experience

• Experience:- 8+ years IT delivery experience- Tier 1 insurance carrier transformation experience, preferred- Familiar with commonly used insurance system packages, preferred

• Insurance Knowledge:- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance product definition, rating engine, underwriting rules, regulatory reporting

• Technical Skills:- Modern IT architecture skills and familiar with Open API framework - Mastery in NodeJS, Jav aScript and Angular UI/UX framework - Mastery in relational DB, J2EE framework

• Leadership:- Exhibits confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well with excellent coaching skills.

• Collaboration:- Ability to operate and have credibility with business partners- Strong interpersonal skills and ability for productive collaboration across varying departments. Comfortable building relationships, internally and externally

• Passionate and mindset:- Self-motivated and self-sufficient with growth-mindset- Comfortable in voicing his/her opinion and representing the viewpoints of others in a productive manner- Ability to deal well with ambiguity, conflict and difficult situations, and ability to deal with change in a pro-active and positive manner
