Senior QA Software Engineer

We seek an experienced Senior QA Software Engineer to join our Internet of Things development team. The successful applicant will work on a Cloud-based software platform to create a connected install base comprising of customer-owned instruments across all product groups.

We aim to drive continuous improvement in the effectiveness of our products to drive overall customer satisfaction and productivity. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interact with various teams across the globe to understand the requirements.

• Plan, develop, execute tests, and track test activities, adhering to timeline and quality.

• Participates in discussions and reviews of test plans, procedures, and software requirements.

• Develop and execute automated and manual test cases based on analyzed requirements and overall test strategy.

• Report errors in the bug tracking tool and track the issues to closure, incl. support of defect investigation, validating defect fixes, and analyzing the impact of fixes.

• Timely and accurately communicate the status of the project to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the software development team, the functional manager, the product manager, and distributed cross-functional teams to ensure products meet quality, performance, scalability, reliability, and schedule goals.

• Prepare appropriate documentation as required by internal product development processes and regulatory agencies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 3-4 years of experience.

• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and related tools.

• Experience in requirement gathering and deducing test scenarios.

• Experience with AWS DevOps or equivalent, and with Test Management Tools.

• Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Software Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles and performance to entry/exit criteria.
