Tax Manager - Federal & State Income Taxes

The Tax Manager will take a lead role in the federal and state income tax accounting and compliance processes. This role will lead a team of three people. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Krakow office as part of a global tax team.

What the day will look like

  • Oversee various aspects of the consolidated federal tax return compliance process such as preparation of book-to-tax differences, disclosures, forms and more.

  • Review state and local income and franchise tax returns.

  • Prepare and review the quarterly and year-end domestic tax provision (ASC 740).

  • Review quarterly estimate and extension calculations and coordinate payments.

  • Provide support for federal and state income tax audits

  • Research technical issues and collaborate on special projects.

  • Manage, mentor, and develop staff including establishing goals, delegating assignments, and providing timely feedback.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Fluency in English

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills (English)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, with emphasis in finance, accounting, or tax

  • Minimum 5 years of operational accounting and/or tax experience

  • Experience preparing or reviewing US income tax returns

  • Leadership and team management skills

  • Ability to collaborate in a global team environment

  • High proficiency in MS Excel

  • Corptax, Workday, and/or Alteryx experience a plus
