Position Overview

Join one of the Software Engineering Scrum teams in the Civil Infrastructure Product Line Group at Autodesk. Our team develops Civil Engineering software such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk InfraWorks, and Autodesk Structural Bridge Design. These tools assist Civil Engineers in their modeling, design, and analysis processes.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about designing and developing high quality software solutions. The products we develop may encompass a combination of desktop applications, web clients, and cloud services.

Reporting to an Engineering Manager, you will be part of a distributed cross-functional team focused on developing and maintaining software for various products and components. At Autodesk, we operate under a hybrid working model from our Krakow office location.

Responsibilities

  • Prototype, implement, and maintain production software and software components.

  • Collaborate within your team and with other engineering teams to design, plan, develop, refactor, test, deliver and maintain complex features within desktop applications, cloud services and other components.

  • Write unit and integration tests.

  • Work with the product owner, experience designer and product management teams to review and implement proposed designs.

  • Act as an agile member of a Scrum team.

  • Collaborate using tools such as Git, JIRA, Slack and wiki pages.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering background with math and physics knowledge is a MUST in this role.

  • Experience in C++ or C# development.

  • First or upper-second class degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Solid English language skills.

Preferred Qualification

  • Familiarity with engineering analysis and design.

  • Experience with Git or similar source code revision control systems.

  • Understanding of deployment methodology.
