We are seeking a skilled back-end developer to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products, working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and technical lead who can join our team of talented developers working on a full-stack application used by thousands of large and small organizations across the world to manage their business. We have an exciting opportunity and a fun technical challenge to build a world-class SaaS product from an already world-class on premise product. As a lead on this team, you'll have direct ability to shape and guide how we make this transition and prepare for the future of Business Analytics at IBM.

We're looking for someone who has strong technical experience in server-side development, preferably in C++, but who is also capable of driving end-to-end solutions requiring a strong grasp and understanding of front-end web development.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of product development experience with C++, Java

• 5+ years of product development experience with JavaScript and NodeJS

• Experience and strong proficiency using REST, Open API standards

• Proven track record working on complex applications

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Familiarity with various Cloud and DB technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, CouchDB, Cassandra, and Postgres

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Open Shift Container Platform (OCP) or Kubernetes

• Full stack web development experience owning and delivering end-to-end features
