We are looking for a candidate that would support Poland office in building and developing software products and solutions through a combination of new and existing technology & data. The successful applicant will join a team responsible for increasing the efficiency of our working environment and making our processes leaner in order to deliver projects in a more innovative and digital way. It is a fantastic opportunity to build something "from scratch" and have a real influence on the work of our engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop app/software/scripts that would enhance project delivery, data usage and communication between existing and new software (i.e. data capture and process automation – imports directly from vendors to datasheets, calculation tools, etc.)

  • Take part in global initiatives to design, develop and execute software solutions to address business needs (workflows, libraries, database)

  • Coordinate with global Digital Delivery and Automation stakeholders on tools functionality and user interface

  • Collaborate with project teams and PMs to determine best practices, possible improvements to project delivery processes and automation of tools

  • Coordinate projects and initiatives, support less experienced members of the team, monitor workload.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for tools and software

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Min. 3 years of hands-on development experience in an Agile environment, using some or a combination of:

  • Back-end programming languages: C#/.NET, Python

  • Front-end web development: HTML, CSS and JavaScript

  • Managing data held in a relational database, SQL: Relational Data Bases like MSSQL, MySQL, PostreSQL, familiarity with: creating and executing procedures, data aggregations, joins, CRUD statements. Abilities to use ORM’s for Django and Asp.net Core

  • Knowledge of nonrelational databases, i.e. MongoDB, or simillar

  • Experience in testing and analyzing code for weaknesses and errors, and overseeing plans to improve them

  • Proficiency with source control (e.g. Git)

  • Awareness of current best practice

Also welcomed:

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as MS Azure or AWS

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes/Docker

  • Familiarity with CI/CD
