FP&A Reporting and Automation Senior Analyst

Overview/Description:

This role will work closely with the Manager and the Data Management team to support Corporate and Regional Finance teams through data analysis, process improvement and decision support solutions. The analyst will be responsible for accurately compiling and analyzing financial information to identify trends and recommend potential solutions to management. The analyst will assist in maintaining daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports using a variety of reporting and BI tools.

What the day will look like

  • Revenue Variance Reporting

  • Support Client Profitability Initiatives

  • Expense Reporting

  • Practice Group Reporting

  • AR/AP Reporting

  • Responsible for critical month end data management

  • Reporting process development

  • Maintain formal documentation procedures

  • Ad hoc requests

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Degree in Finance and Economics related field

  • Excellent analytical and technical skills

  • Ability to gather and translate business needs to validate and support reporting requirements

  • Able to identify how to add value to the management tools available to decision makers

  • Capable of working on projects with aggressive schedules

  • Able to quickly learn new concepts or technical tasks

  • Good communication skills to present reports, data or processes in order to influence or persuade counterparts of the validity of opinions or to defend positions taken

  • Finance, accounting, costing, math/statistics.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, etc)

  • Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

  • Structured Query Language (SQL)

  • Fluent English (C1)

  • Spotless record and strong work ethos

  • BI Tools (PowerBI, PowerAutomate, PowerApps) – nice to have
