Products and solutions range from existing portfolio Power Electronics - BorgWarner (https://www.borgwarner.com/technologies/power-electronics) , but go far beyond and will include NPIs as well as applications projects.
Job Purpose
Electronics Hardware Engineer is responsible for the electronic design for high volume manufacturing of Engine Control Units and High Voltage Power Electronics products like Inverters. Your tasks will consist of developing electronic schematics, analyzing circuits to requirements, and performing verification testing of your design.
What we’re looking for
Minimum B.S. in Engineering in Electrical, Electronics or similar field.
Knowledge of simulation tools i.e. Matlab/Simulink.
Experience with ECAD tools i.e. Eagle, Altium Designer.
Previous working experience or knowledge about Inverters, Converters, PCBs
Previous working experience or knowledge about High Voltage Power Electronics products
Previous experience in Automotive domain is highly recommended but not must.
Knowledge of standard ISO 26262 is a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is must.
Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills is required.
Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively.
