We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Vice President , Markets Operations and Transformation Manager - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Securities & Derivatives Manager– C12) based in Hong Kong. In this role, you’re expected to:

• Familiar with treasury products and its processing flow with strong IT senses.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance controls and mitigate operations risks.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, setting milestones, and overseeing the successful execution of transformation projects.

• Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles that may impede the progress of initiatives.

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, teammates, technical team, and external partners, to acquire support and collaboration.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of projects to ensure they meet predefined objectives and make necessary adjustments when required.

• Formulate procedures, techniques and contribute to the development of new techniques that increase team productivity, ensuring entire team meets or exceeds performance goals.

• Escalate control gaps and issues to senior management as needed.Identify control gaps during settlement cycle and implements appropriate solutions to mitigate any risk or control losses.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in transformation project planning.

• Experience in treasury products processing and settlement.

• In-depth knowledge of settlement cycle concepts and procedures to resolve settlement issues.

• Previous people management experience

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
