Cat Digital is expanding its operations and opening a new branch in Slovakia. We are seeking talented individuals to join our team to help us establish and grow our presence, organization, culture, which will drive our digital product development efforts. What will you do? 

As a  S enior Technical Business Analyst at Cat Digital's new Slovakian branch, you will have the opportunity to help build applications that will provide actionable insights across all Caterpillar businesses. You will be a part of a fast-moving and engineering driven digital organization with skilled engineers what will help you tackle challenges and problems that are critical to our business outcomes. You will also provide day-to-day support to customers and field service staff in relation to product implementation, customization, questions, and problem management:

• Coordinates with product development engineers to track and communicate design, development, support, and maintenance problems and solutions.

• Utilizes various analytics methodologies to provide seamless technical product flows, designs and use cases.

• Identifies, documents, and reports design, reliability and maintenance problems and bugs. Gathers andconsolidates feedback from customers and field staff.

• Utilizes previously gathered technical experience with BE systems, preferably Node.JS & Java.

• Tests engineered products and solutions and provides early corrections of the development journeys.

• Coordinates with field support specialists and customers to address and resolve problems and expand product usage.

• Answers customer and field support questions; provides guidance and support for product integration and infrastructure issues.

This position works directly with Slovakia based engineering leadership and Cat Digital IT in the US.

What you have:

Business Analysis: Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Software Change Request Management: Knowledge of software change request management; ability to manage software product change requests from customers, prospective customers, vendors, and internal staff.

Software Engineering: Knowledge of software engineering; ability to deliver new or enhanced fee-based software products.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Knowledge of UAT activities, tasks, tools and techniques; ability to design, implement and evaluate acceptance tests for end-users.
