UL, LLC Global Accounts Manager in Korea, United States

  • Reports directly to Asia-Pacific Senior Director for Global & Strategic Accounts.

  • Responsible for directly managing one global account.

  • Work as One Team with Regional Managing Director and the Region Management Team.

  • Develop & execute 3-5 year account strategy plans for responsible account with the support of a broad account team.

  • Build trusted relationships & influence with senior customer leadership.

  • Expand relationships with global buying centers & identify decision-makers.

  • Track industry trends & anticipate market shifts across all served markets.

  • Participate in quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with sales management to update account plans and improve sales execution.

  • Exercise UL Solutions Ways of Working: Change Mindset, Connectivity, Customer Centricity, Decisiveness and Accountability

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in account management targeting large Korean conglomerates.

  • Minimum 35 years of direct experience in large Korean conglomerate account.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English including strong executive presentation skill.

  • Industry expertise in automotive and mobility and other adjacent industries.

  • Strong understanding of UL Solutions’ Test, Inspection and Certification (“TIC”) and Software & Advisory (“S&A”) services and solutions.

  • Strong understanding of business decision making structure and process of major Korean conglomerates for business offerings of UL Solutions.

  • Experience successfully working with senior (C-level) executives. Can be a trustworthy partner for customers.

  • Able to collaborate across the organization and with external key stakeholders.

  • Holds strong operational skills that will drive organizational efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

  • Self-motivated leader.

  • Strategic, Creative, Critical Thinker.

  • (Preferred) Prior experience in managing B2B sales accounts in a global TIC, industrial software or equivalent company .

  • (Preferred) Professional understanding of key global and local market trends, global technology standards and product regulatory compliance for automotive and mobility industries.

  • (Preferred) Possesses a strong management presence and leadership ability, with communication and interpersonal skills that inspire and motivate leaders and teams.

  • (Preferred) Proven ability to develop strategies, translate them into initiatives and track successful delivery.
