The primary objective of the Security & Loss Prevention manager is to provide security services and asset protection in designated area of responsibility and assist in mitigating product loss and maintain customer satisfaction in accordance with global Security guidelines and Policies. The role is cross-functional and requires deep collaboration and influencing ability with stakeholders from business and corporate functions. SLP Manager, in day-to-day activities, planning, sourcing and executing the process and procedure. Identify the shrink aspects in the AOR. Identify the potential theft area and work closely with the concerned stake holders. Optimum utilization of the resources to ensure and maintain high quality and timely support to the operations of the organization. Conduct risk assessment for the respective sites and work in accordance with the security policies and guidelines. Independently able to handle emergency situation and drive loss prevention methods at the site level.

Key job responsibilities

• Perform risk assessment and frame mitigation measures.

• Drive physical security performance and compliance in AoR.

• Ensure optimum functioning of electronic surveillance devices in accordance with Global Security Operation (GSO) policies.

• Posses ability to work on various tools & perform trend analysis using data mining and analytical skills.

• Ability to conduct detailed investigation within the policy framework, identify root cause & document management action plan for process formulation/ compliance/ improvement

• Engage effectively in people experience and performance.

• Ability to respond & implement crisis management plan to support business continuity

• Implement key liaison contacts in industry, law enforcement, government and regulatory agencies to maintain awareness of and provide tactical response to upcoming legislation, industry trends, external risks and new technologies related to operations.

• Report incidents to GSOC as per agreed escalation matrix.

• Possess the ability to deliver under ambiguous and strenuous situations.

• Deliver on projects or continuous improvement initiatives using Agile or lean methodologies.

• Possess complete understanding of surveillance, access control systems, etc.

A day in the life

• Day to day activities include planning, sourcing and executing security processes and procedures at Last Miles.

• Shall be responsible to identify and mitigate risks related to shrink.

• Shall investigate potential theft/pilferage and work closely with the relevant stake holders and Law enforcement agencies.

• Shall be responsible for optimum utilization of the resources to ensure timely support to the business.

• Shall conduct periodic risk assessment for the respective sites and work in accordance with the security policies and guidelines.

• Shall independently handle emergency/crisis situations through effective coordination and communication.

Basic Qualifications

 University degree level or equivalent through experience and professional certification.

 A minimum of 8-10 years experience in Security and Loss Prevention field, Military, Law enforcement or security-related profession.

 Extensive and up to date knowledge of security equipment and technology.

 Experience in managing or coordinating security investigations of complex nature.

 Knowledge of information security processes and systems.

 Experience in security auditing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must have strong oral and written communication skills

• Proven ability to work with and effectively persuade facility site leaders and other key departments within the organization.

• Strong familiarity with data bases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, Access, Exception Based Reporting, etc

• Analytical leader experienced in performance based, action and results oriented management, strong project manager and effective problem-solver.
