Sous Chef - The American Club

Specific Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally and confidently with guests, employees, vendors, and leadership.

• Complete operational duties including opening and closing checklists, line checks, pre-shifts, maintaining restaurant facilities, ordering, and monthly inventory.

• Provide consistent training, coaching, and support for all hourly employees.

• Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, solving problems as they arise, and working proactively to minimize future problems.

Skills/Requirements

• Associate's degree within Culinary Arts preferred

• 3+ years working in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.

• Experience as a Sous Chef or other kitchen leadership position is preferred.

• Ability to identify and solve problems regarding culinary and general restaurant operations.

• Must have open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

The salary range for this position is $59,250 - $74,050. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
