Why You Will Love this Job: Specific responsibilities: * Manage associate safety, ensuring operators wear proper PPE and follow safety protocols throughout the department. Provide monthly safety training to E-Line associates. Ensure operators maintain training on different safety systems at required intervals throughout the year, e.g., hoist training/recertification. * Manage the quality of work produced by E-Line assembly and test associates. Ensure associates follow inspection guidelines and have received proper training to do their job. * Lead daily toolbox/huddle meetings with associates. * Meet delivery targets by managing the critical list and working with E-Line scheduling to set priorities and an overall strategy for your shift to follow. * Manage costs through the strategic use of overtime, ensuring associates meet productivity requirements. * Post overtime for the department weekly. * Manage disciplinary action as necessary to drive accountability on all aspects of the above requirements. * Manage payroll and vacations for associates. * Help coordinate daily test cell plan as well as coordinate witness test. * Conduct new associate 30-60-90 day reviews, and thereafter annual reviews, to provide both positive and constructive feedback as necessary. * Work closely with the maintenance supervisor to provide machine availability for PM tasks that may need to be completed while minimizing downtime by scheduling during vacation periods. * Manage training and cross-training of associates using training checklists and job hazard analysis documents. * Maintain and update the Tier 1 board. * Assist with keeping the Work in Progress (WIP) report updated at the end of each shift and help maintain an accurate GEMBA/Tier 2 board prior to daily production meetings. * Complete shift notes at the end of each shift for harmonized communication between shifts. * Monitor capacity and other constraints to provide feedback to the Cell Manager, so alternative sourcing methods can be utilized as necessary to ensure SQDCP targets are met. * Report any mechanical or operational problems to the Maintenance Department and E-Line and write work orders as needed. * Perform all duties as assigned by the Cell Manager. * Practice and follow all required safety regulations. * Must have high attention to detail and stay well organized. * Must have a high sense of urgency. * Must have good verbal and written communication skills. * Must be punctual and dependable. * Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are required. * Must be able to effectively manage conflict with composure, ensuring calm and respectful resolutions while upholding professional integrity and authority. * Associate should have good spatial reasoning skills and high mechanical aptitude to make deductions and inferences regarding processes or operations that m ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjUwMTAxLjg3NzBAa29obGVyZW5lcmd5Y29tcC5h GxpdHJhay5jb20
