Siemens Gebze factory is the lead factory for Air Insulated Switchgears in Siemens World and exporting more than 80 countries worldwide. We are seeking a dedicated and talented on-site Quality Control Engineer to join our Quality Control team.
What part will you play?
Supporting and following Low Voltage Quality Control operations in accordance to planned work schedule.
Direct communication with relevant parties (OM, AS, FP etc.) and participating regular coordination meetings as a representative of the low voltage quality control team.
Planning and implementation of continuous improvement activities, especially in scope of digitalization and automation.
Organizing supplier visits, identifying, planning and monitoring improvement potentials.
Preparation of relevant KPI’s & process related statistics.
Supporting and supervising customer acceptance activities.
Supporting before sales and aftersales operations by providing technical consultancy. Analyzing root causes, defining and implementing corrective and preventative actions effectively.
Supporting and participation in process and product certification process and audits.
What you need to make real what matters.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related fields
Min 2 years’ experience in low voltage products and components
Knowledge of IEC standards and related tests applied in low voltage switchgears
Knowledge of digital tools and application
Very good command of MS Office applications
Interested in digitalization and software applications
Customer and solution oriented, experienced to work with different cultures
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
