Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for a Tableau Developer SME with Alteryx to join our team. This position can be performed in any city in the U.S. in CT or ET where CGI has an office with preferred locations of Belton, TX, Columbia, SC, Knoxville, TN or Lafayette, LA. Position Description

This team requires this role to build analytical reports mostly in Tableau. This resource must be strong in Tableau (using Alteryx), Java, and SQL skills.​​

Your future duties and responsibilities:

​​In this role, you will be responsible for developing business intelligence solutions through analytical reporting using the Tableau Suite of products from Tableau Desktop to Tableau Server and SQL. You will work with team members and business leaders to identify opportunities to turn data analytics into insights, for intelligent decision-making. Responsible for developing front end reports for AWS related activities in the organization. Pull data and metrics for stakeholders and executives to generate graphs and dashboards as per the role.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 7-9+ years of experience with Tableau and SQL

• 4-6+ years of experience with Java

• Ability to maintain and manage Tableau driven dashboards

• Knowledge of Tableau Report Performance Optimization

• Knowledge of data modeling concepts

•​ Ability to translate business needs to technical specifications

• Extensive hands-on in Design, build and deploy BI solutions

• Maintain and support data analytics platforms

• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting

• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems

Desired Experience:

​​• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems

• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses

• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects

• Develop and update technical documentation ​

Education:​​ Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $66,300.00 - $146,900.00.
