Position Purpose:

The Sanitation & Custodial Technician performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks in warehouse and administrative office facilities, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.

• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure the safety of all associates.

• Performs cleaning duties as assigned, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks throughout the warehouse, administrative office, & conference room spaces.

• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.

• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.

• A pallet jack may be required to be operated to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.

• Completes all assignments in a timely and accurate.

• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

6+ months of general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience

Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment including but not limited to floor scrubber, pallet jack, floor vacuum, and other related janitorial equipment

Ability to occasionally lift up to 85 lbs.

Ability to work at a fast pace while standing, walking, bending, and squatting throughout the entire shift

Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
