Description

Robert Half is hiring! We are seeking a Manager of Applications Development to join a dynamic team in the software space. The role involves leading and managing a development team, overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, and working closely with various departments to ensure integrated and efficient software development processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the development team

• Act as a technical advisor, providing insights and recommendations to align development efforts with business goals and user needs

• Identify and address challenges that may affect timely delivery, quality of delivery, team morale, or clear communication

• Provide guidance and mentorship to developers, nurturing a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team

• Ensure adherence to the established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment

• Work in synergy with other departments, such as product, IT, security, and operations, to ensure integrated and efficient software development processes

• Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to continuously improve productivity

• Utilize leadership skills to inspire and motivate team members

• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure and services and deployment pipelines

• Utilize project management skills to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements • Possess strong leadership skills, with a proven track record in managing teams to achieve organizational goals.

• Demonstrable experience in project management, particularly in overseeing the development and implementation of applications.

• Extensive knowledge of SAAS (Software As A Service) and its application in the real estate and property industry.

• Able to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all tasks are completed within the set timelines.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex technical issues.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications would be advantageous.

• Proficient in using various software development tools and methodologies.

• Experience in strategic planning and execution, particularly in aligning IT strategy with business goals.

• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems within the organization. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
