WestRock Company Accounting Coordinator in Knoxville, Tennessee
The Opportunity:
As a highly valued member of the Knoxville, TN team, this position is responsible for performing general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliation, gross margin reporting and management reporting as necessary, and balancing of departmental accounts.
How you will impact Smurfit WestRock:
Assists in basic accounting functions
Performs account reconciliation
Performs gross margin reporting
Prepares and creates management reporting as needed
Prepares and enters journal entries
Produces accurate monthly reports including income and balance sheets
Performs general ledger maintenance
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited four-year university or college in accounting or related field is preferred
Manufacturing experience highly preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
Proficient in JDE and AS400 is required
Foreign current accounting is a plus
Ability to relate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
