WorkSource Oregon Housekeeper in Klamath Falls, Oregon
Housekeepers will perform a variety of housekeeping duties including sweeping, moping, deep cleaning, surface cleaning, dusting, changing and laundering linen. Attention to detail and experience with customer assistance and service are required. This position is seasonal, full-time, working 40 hours per week including weekends and holidays. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Use proper cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces in accordance with OSHA and resort procedures 2. Vacuum/sweep/clean floor using vacuums, brooms, and steam mops 3. Make beds, replacing linen 4. Dust all surface areas in cabins 5. Clean shower/tub, toilet, vanity, and all other areas in the cabin bathroom 6. Clean kitchen, including washing dishes, appliances, and surface areas 7. Stock cabin amenities according to policy, ensuring proper quantity of all amenity items 8. Clean assigned cabins by priority and within 90 minutes 9. Report all maintenance issues identified while cleaning cabins 10. Clean restrooms, shower rooms, and laundry room for resort RV guests 11. Responsibly drive housekeeping vehicles while abiding by resort driving rules 12. Clean and re-stock housekeeping vehicles at the end of shift 13. Transport all trash and waste to proper disposal area 14. Follow proper lost and found procedure Typical Physical/Mental Requirements: Medium to heavy physical demand capabilities required, stand for up to 8 hours, carry and lift up to 40 pounds frequently, climb and balance on ladders, bend at the waist, kneel and squat on the ground, reach above the shoulder frequently, pushing or pulling up to 100 lbs frequently.; work in hot and cold temperatures. You must be able to work well independently, and with other co-workers and guests. Must be able to prioritize work demands and organize time efficiently.
