Abbott Territory Manager Cardiac Surgery Nordic in Kista, Sweden

The Opportunity:

The Territory Manager position in Cardiac surgery (CS), will be expected to work independently to drive revenue growth and account penetration within structural heart cardiac surgery.

The role is field based with main focus on visiting customers and commercial people to maximize opportunities and deliver results.

The product portfolio of responsibility includes devices for cardiac surgery open heart surgery. The sales responsibility includes full cardiac surgery portfolio in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark including following up distributors in the Baltic region. Clinical support is expected upon request in Nordic countries.

The position can be based in Sweden, Norway or Denmark with frequent travel to the other Nordic countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales quota and be accountable for results

  • Propose challenging and reasonable yearly targets and forecasts to management

  • Defend with excellence (i.e. coming up proactive solutions) price & market share in assigned accounts of own region

  • Provide technical support to implants and follow ups

  • Deliver winning offers as response to tender requests

  • Support congress activities

  • Create and implement referral activities to drive therapy development and growth

  • Consignment/stock management

Qualifications:

  • Strong commercial background within a marketing company environment at a Sales Representative level

  • Experience (clinically or commercially) within cardiology

  • Degree standard education in scientific, business discipline and or minimum bachelor’s degree in nursing

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a Scandinavian language and English

  • Strong influential skills - gaining commitment through effective influencing and stakeholder management.

  • Strong sales skills on top of being excellent in building relations

  • Strong teamwork and facilitation, effective at leading and being a member of teams

  • Ability to listen actively and respond constructively to needs and views of others

  • Delivery: get the job done, meet or exceed expectations and exhibit a sense of urgency on critical time dependent issues

  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize

  • Self-drive to identify, initiate and implement projects independently of line manager

  • Ability to coordinate and follow-up local center of excellence

  • Ability to build recommendation in business/account development and implementation plans

  • Local KOLs management coordination/ prepare the new 'pipeline' of KOL
