The Retail Strategy Integration Manager will drive the development of cross-category product strategies across the vertical merchandising organization while aligning with broader Disney Consumer Products (DCP) priorities for their supported franchises & areas of ownership. This role will be an essential part of the DCP Parks Product Development & Retail organization that supports the development of merchandise for the Disney Parks and Owned & Operated DTC retail locations.
This is an onsite role that can be based in Orlando, FL or Glendale, CA and will report to the Senior Manager - Merchandising.
What You Will Do :
Develop and drive cross-category product strategies across the vertical merchandising organization ensuring alignment with consumer preferences and market demands
Conduct off-cycle milestone check-ins as necessary to accommodate new content and speed-to-market opportunities, and/or other DCP priority alignments
Validate positioning of future strategies with analysis of current in-season performance and trends to improve business results
Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure cohesive strategy implementation
Partner with retail channel teams ensuring franchise content, localized activations, and Park programmingrequirementsareclearlyunderstoodandembeddedinto development touchpoints
Identify'whitespace' opportunitiesanddetermine strategies to expand audiences
Partner across the broader Walt Disney Company (including Commercialization, Brand Management, Studio, Imagineering, Site teams, etc.) to represent the voice of and serve as the conduit back to the vertical merchandise organization. while maintaining key relationships withMerchandising, Product Design, GlobalCreative, Parks/DTC Site & Planning Partners, Global Brand Commercialization, Studio and Walt Disney Imagineering Partners
Required Qualifications & Skills :
5 years experience in franchise strategy, merchandising, marketing, business development or brand management
Ability to collaborate, influence, and persuade at all levels across the organization
Comfortable working through a matrix structure to deliver the end solution; flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Exceptional visual presentation building (PPT/Keynote) and delivery skills with a focus on storytelling and business results
Experience in web-based retail systems (e.g. PLM/Product Lifecycle Management, MicroStrategy) and willingness to learn new systems as needed for deck and report building; proficiency in Microsoft Office
Managing large entertainment franchises in an omni-channel retail structure
Able to handle a large volume of complex work, prioritizing to ensure results are achieved
Ambitious attitude, proactive problem solver and self-starter
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor Degree in relevant field of study

The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $ 98,600.00 to $132,200 per year and in Glendale, CA is $103,500 to $138,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
