Duties and Responsibilites Monitor FSFN/CCWIS for receipt of incoming child abuse/neglect reports. Assemble new reports into case files with the necessary reports, forms, and background searches. Disseminate reports per rotation schedule as outlined by supervisory staff. Address and assign incoming OTI and transfer requests from other counties.

Ensure that the phone line designated for the Abuse Hotline is covered and answered at all times to accept Immediate abuse reports. Answer telephones from main DCF phone line. Route incoming calls to the appropriate person and or take messages. Answer general questions to the public.

Greet Walk In client's and answer general questions. Handle initial request for client's seeking copies of investigative reports and or records, deliver to supervisor for redaction of any cases in question and or further direction. Screen process servers, locate appropriate staff or supervisor to receive the service.

Process mail (pick up/sorting/postage meter/interoffice/special deliveries and certified mail etc.). Copying/faxing/filing/correspondence as directed by supervisory staff regarding special projects. Drafting and sending case closure letters on all closed CPI investigations.
