Description

A.T. Still University (ATSU) is seeking applicants for an exempt Business Process Analyst - Administrative Systems. The Business Process Analyst will drive a culture of continuous improvement at ATSU by analyzing existing business processes and implementing improvements using various systems and technologies. This role involves a combination of analysis, documentation, training, and project management to optimize workflows and enhance system utilization across the university.

Major Job Duties

  • Analysis and Documentation

  • Analyze and document existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Evaluate systems and make recommendations for their use.

  • Investigate and resolve issues and problem areas.

  • Test new software versions and make recommendations for process changes.

  • Build business process automation and workflows using low-code/no-code solutions.

  • Training and Education

  • Provide training on systems and business processes for new employees.

  • Offer continuous learning opportunities for existing users.

  • Conduct training sessions on new functionalities and data input processes.

  • Create and maintain web-based training materials.

  • Issue Tracking, Communication, and Reporting

  • Maintain issue tracking system and follow up on critical issues.

  • Investigate and document steps to recreate issues.

  • Leadership

  • Act as a liaison with ITS for technical problem-solving.

  • Manage key projects for new technology implementations.

  • Assist in evaluating new technologies and their strategic implications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Programs or Services

  • Responsible for implementation, support, and continuous improvement of systems such as Anthology Student, Anthology Reach, Anthology Raise, and Microsoft Dynamics.

  • Knowledge Areas

  • Transactional based systems and related workflows.

  • Tools for documenting workflows and data mapping.

Education/Experience

  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in working collaboratively with end users.

  • Experience in analyzing business processes and workflows.

  • Ability to capture user requirements and translate them into functional processes.

  • Experience in managing and balancing multiple projects.

  • Exposure to no-code/low-code development platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps) and AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) with a willingness to learn and grow in these areas.

Skills/Equipment

  • Ability to prepare and edit functional documentation.

  • Excellent project management and people skills.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment and conduct meetings via video conferencing.

  • Workflow documentation software (e.g., MS Visio).
