Summary:
The Monitor Clerk assists the professional caregiver in the care of patients by monitoring cardiac rhythms and performing a wide range of clerical, transcription and maintenance of the patient care unit desk area functions. The Monitor Clerk ensures that Hospital's philosophy, standards, policies and procedures are met and maintained in a professional manner.
Education Requirements

Professional Experience Requirements:
- No prior experience required
Other Skills and Qualifications
- Good interpersonal, communication and observation skills are essential. Understanding of patient care needs according to developmental stages for various age groups.
Work Environment
- Exposure to blood borne pathogens requiring the use of protective equipment; exposure to other infectious diseases.
Physical Requirements
- Working and standing throughout the shift. Lifting, pulling, turning and pushing patients
