Certified School Psychologist/BCBAImmediate Opening Beginning in the September 2024 School YearCenter for Spectrum Services is seeking a full-time 10 month (6 week) BCBA and/or Certified School Psychologist for our school located in Kingston. Candidate must be NYS Certified BCBA or School Psychologist.Center for Spectrum Services is a New York State approved, not-for-profit, nationally recognized day school program serving toddlers, preschool, and elementary aged students most of whom are on the autism spectrum.Center for Spectrum Services is a model of professionals who incorporate applied behavior analytic instructional techniques. Our dedication to our students’ success is recognized by New York State Education Department as a school with effective practicesESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Consult with educational staff regarding learning and behavioral strategiesCoordinate the writing, implementation and review of behavioral interventions analysisConduct and coordinate functional behavior analysisObserve and participate in classroom activitiesPrepare, participate and present in Annual Review processCoordinate family support as neededThis position requires excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact with students, coworkers, families and school district personnel.
