the role

One of the most exciting roles at Graze! The Shopper Marketing Manager is at the helm of leading the creation and execution of our shopper strategy, whilst also having a strong input into the total brand communication & activation strategy. You will be responsible for leading a team that delivers winning retail strategies, which activates our BTL brand & category strategy consistently. You will operate as a key pivot operating between the marketing and sales teams, effectively executing the activation calendar to maximise Graze’s growth opportunities across our priority customers and sub-channels.


what you’ll be responsible for  

  • Creating and establishing a shopper marketing strategy that maximises the growth opportunities that are ahead for Graze. 

  • Leading the execution of the full shopper activity plan for Graze.

  • Delivering innovative and breakthrough shopper execution plans that step change our visibility at point of conversion.

  • Responsibility of the full Shopper media budget, tracking KPIs and managing ROI on all spend and course correction action plans.

  • Delivering best in class innovation launches with through the line execution plans

  • Building key relationships across our partner retailers.

  • Leading our Trade PR plans to engage our retail customers and fuel our new business opportunities.

  • Leading our e-commerce media and content strategy.

  • Partnering with the In-House creative team to bring the brand to life in retail stores and online in a consistent and disruptive manner. 

  • Line Management duty of 1 x Shopper Marketing Executive and 1x E-Commerce media executive.


    what we’re looking for in you

  • A minimum of 4 years experience developing your skills in a FMCG Shopper Marketing team and/or FMCG Sales Team.

  • You are an ambassador for your function who thinks ‘Shopper First’, and leverage this thinking  in everything that you do.

  • You will have a good understanding of the most effective shopper marketing levers in the key grocery retailers.

  • Show us what you know! Be able to demonstrate an impressive knowledge of key retailers, shopper levers and shopper brand strategy.

  • You have the skills and the ambition to challenge the status quo, and rethink how best we can deliver Graze’s shopper plans in the future.

  • You have brilliant interpersonal and influencing skills. This will be critical for co-creating the plans with your internal network, as much as it will be for building relationships with your key retailers & brand collaboration partners.

  • You are comfortable with data analysis to demonstrate ROI on Marketing Budget.

  • Line Manager experience is desirable, but not mandatory.

  • Proactively take on the task of building a deep knowledge of the business challenges and opportunities. This diagnosis will form the input to your approach to our shopper investment plans

  • Develop clear ways of working for you, your team and your core network of stakeholders. These should be set in a way that will ultimately enable you best to execute your shopper activity plan
