Job Description

Albemarle is hiring an entry-level QC Technician. This position will work onsite at our Kings Mountain, NC location.

What You Will Do

The QC Technician will be responsible for working with other departments to obtain and run tests on and prep samples. Due to the nature of the operation the QC lab contains safety sensitive material. PPE is required and technicians must follow all safety processes. Commitment to company and department safety policies are a job requirement.

Must be knowledgeable of environmental requirements. Take immediate action to remedy any condition in violation of policies.

Types of analyses that are performed will include elemental analysis of lithium metal via ICP spectroscopy, acid/base titrations by auto-titration, and various wet chemical analyses

• Competency in basic analytical testing and procedures

• Technician must actively participate in safety procedures and training for the area.

• The technician must work in a team effort to complete designated tasks.
