Overview
The Armed Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing security operations and ensuring the safety and security of assigned areas. The role requires a strong background in law enforcement or security, along with proven supervisory experience. The Armed Supervisor must meet specific physical and weapons qualifications to effectively lead and manage security personnel.
Responsibilities
Supervises and manages security personnel to ensure compliance with security protocols and procedures
Coordinates and oversees daily security operations, including patrols, access control, and incident response
Maintains a high level of readiness and ensure that all team members are adequately trained and equipped
Conducts regular assessments to ensure compliance with security standards and identify areas for improvement
Collaborates with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies as needed
Qualifications
Shall have a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in law enforcement or a security related area
Must be previously fully commissioned by an accredited law enforcement agency or possess a Diploma or Certificate as a graduate of a Federal, State, local or military service approved/recognized basic law enforcement or a physical security academy
Must also have one (1) year of law enforcement or security-related supervisory experience
Armed Supervisors must satisfactorily complete Physical Agility Testing (PAT) and Weapons Qualifications prior to assuming duties and comply with all remaining requirements
Able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
