Jacobs Bus Driver (Part Time) in Kings Bay, Georgia

PART TIME

Pay Rate: $21.82/hr

Under direct supervison, drives buses up to 44-passenger capacity with air brakes as required to transport personnel througout the base and on public roads and highways. Ensures that passengers are seated and that the vehicle is not loaded beyond capacity. Completes trip tickets and preventive maintenance service records. Performs drivers' maintenance in accordance with established rules and regulations to include vehicle cleanliness. May perform other related duties as assigned.

Here’s what you’ll need :

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Two years driving experience in a professional capacity with a safe driving record.

  • Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement for size and type vehicle required.

  • No restriction for air brakes on CDL

  • Must have and wear at all times, substantial leather shoes

  • Successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements for access to all areas of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
