Job Title: Warehouse Logistics Assistant

Location: King of Prussia PA

Pay Rate: $25.30/HR

Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday), 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Training Schedule:

  • Initial training will be conducted on a 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM shift for approximately 1 month.

  • Following training, the shift will adjust to 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM for a second month.

  • Final shift will be 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM to integrate fully with the team and perform the role's regular duties.

Job Purpose:

The Warehouse Logistics Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of manual and clerical tasks related to the shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering of materials, equipment, and supplies within a cGMP warehouse. This role involves a balanced mix of equipment operation and system-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Duties:

  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move stock and organize materials.

  • Drive a box truck to transfer stock between buildings.

  • Utilize computerized or automated systems to execute tasks efficiently.

  • Adhere to company values and expectations.

  • Shipping and Receiving:

  • Receive and quarantine incoming cGMP raw materials in SAP according to quality and safety requirements.

  • Stage raw materials for sampling and inspection, following material specifications and inputting data into the sample tracking system.

  • Assist with shipping bulk drug products following cGMP procedures to ensure quality, integrity, and timely delivery.

  • Manage the receipt and delivery of parcels to site personnel.

  • Inventory Control:

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels in SAP and conduct periodic inventory checks.

  • Deliver materials to production promptly, adhering to good quality practices.

  • Perform bulk drug freeze-down transfer procedures, including the use of controlled-rate freezing equipment.

  • Participate in cycle counts of all warehouse-managed materials.

Job-Related Experience:

  • Previous experience in warehouse and material handling.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

  • Forklift experience required

  • SAP experience required

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word.

  • Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.

Other Job-Related Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to meet physical demands, including stooping, standing, climbing, and frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Note: This is a hands-on position with an approximate 50/50 split between equipment operation and systems tasks.

Pay Details: $25.30 per hour
