This Systems Engineering Manager position is located in Valley Forge, PA supporting the Sentinel Program, part of the Advanced Strategic Programs (ASP) portfolio. The position will provide technical direction, planning, and staffing support, in addition to the management of System Engineering resources for the Sentinel Program. Responsibilities include oversight and guidance of a Systems Engineering team, encompassing the entire System Engineering life cycle, from architecture and requirements development through weapons system operations and sustainment. There is an increased focus on model-based and digital engineering processes on this program.

The Systems Engineering Manager will be required to provide functional leadership and demonstrate LM Full Spectrum Leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

- Working knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and/or Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies

- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to promote teamwork with internal customers

- Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment

- Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills

- Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools (MS Office tools)

- Bachelors or higher degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with commensurate years of professional experience.

Desired Skills:

- Experience with systems engineering related to missile systems and/or ground support equipment

- Experience with US Air Force Weapon Systems Programs

- Proficiency with Model Based Engineering (MBE) processes, principles, and tools

- Broad experience with the Systems Engineering lifecycle, processes, and tools

- Ability to effectively manage change

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

- Ability to work to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
