Robert Half has teamed up with a very stable client on their search for a Senior Accountant with strong month-end and financial reporting experience. In this role, the Senior Accountant will prepare financial reports, maintain the general ledger, assist with budgeting and planning, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This candidate will need to possess thorough knowledge of accounting procedures, financial forecast, and commissions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Review financial statements

• Maintain and update financial records

• Analyze liability, asset, and capital

• Account Reconciliation

• Assist with payroll as needed

• Prepare journal entries

• Variance Analysis

• Assist with documentation for external audits

• Identify process improvements

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• 3+ years of accounting experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel

• Excellent analytical skills

• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
