Ecolab Maintenace Lead and Planner in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: R00233363 What you will do:

As the Maintenance Lead and Planner at Purolite, you will be responsible for the supervision, scheduling and prioritization of all plant maintenance and repairs as well as the assignment of work.

Position Details: Responsible for maintenance and housekeeping activities throughout the plant Responsible for issuing Work permits and LOTO process. Ensures that the necessary tools, materials, and staff are available to complete all maintenance and repairs as needed. Coordinates internal maintenance work with outside contractors and Lead Mechanic. Issue work orders through using computerized system like SAP, CMMS etc. Tracks daily time and attendance and approves vacations and personal time off of all maintenance employees. Performs maintenance employees' performance evaluations and takes any disciplinary steps as needed Performs plant purchasing and maintains sufficient inventory of critical parts and any addition equipment. Maintains and reports spare parts inventory Manages all contracted services including but not limited to uniform rental service, cleaning service, forklift maintenance, boiler repairs and trash removal Ensures overall site security Performs operation and maintenance of plant utilities Maintains plant fire suppression system, including scheduling and participating in all code mandated inspections and audits Performs other duties as assigned Work Monday - Friday at our state-of-the-art King of Prussia manufacturing facility; occasional weekends or evenings for emergency situations.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering 10 years industrial maintenance experience is required. Proficient with multiple computer platforms used in this role Strong written communication to multiple collaborators Ability to initiate tasks on various platforms, scheduled necessary work and work in an independent manner. Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with visitors, professional and plant personnel.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering

Physical Demands: Physical requirements: Requires ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, up to and including twelve hours; walk, bend, reach, grasp, handle, push, pull, twist, kneel, squat, carry and lift uneven loads. Lift floor to waist, lift waist level and above, including overhead, up to and including 60 lbs. Contact stress on body from tools, machines or equipment. Climb step stools, stairs, ladders and scaffolds. Ability to roll drums on to and off of pallets potentially up to and including 500 lbs. Visual requirements: Requires ability to use tools, machinery or lab equipment, including viewing computer screens, write and review documentation. Close visual acuity in order to perform mechanical or skilled trade tasks; inspect parts and machinery; fabricate or assemble parts. Ability to operate light and heavy equipment, motor vehicles. Close visual acuity in order to read small print, analyze data, transcribe, determine the accuracy, neatness or thoroughness of assigned work or work area. Hearing requirements: Talk and/or hear normal audible sounds including the spoken word and sounds over the telephone. Understand and convey spoken instructions accurately, softly, loudly or quickly, frequently in a noisy environment. Mental requirements: Ability to comprehend complex information or instructions, interpret and convey information in a written or oral format. Emotional demands: Ability and willingness to deal with high stress fast paced situations and make accurate and quick decisions. Equipment use: Extensive computer use, frequent use of lab equipment, forklift, and other machinery and tools
