Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Asc Contracts Mgmt - Entry Level join our Finance Team in King of Prussia, PA! In this role, you will learn and be expected to perform contracts management functions from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration. The Contracts profession provides business advice and guidance to other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations. They also serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. They coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance. They ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. They lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. They ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. Additionally, they may plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company, collect contractual data and compile reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.

Basic Qualifications:

Excel / Microsoft Office Proficient

Extracurricular / Leadership involvement

Applicable degree from accredited college or university

Proven ability to learn new skills

Written and Verbal Communication skills

Must have Final Top Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university

Experience collaboratively interfacing with diverse disciplines such as Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Property, and Business Development

- Experience with negotiating and managing various contract types (FFP, FPAF/IF, CPAF/IF, OTA, T&M, IDIQ)

- Experience with building strong, positive customer relationships

- Experience with communicating across varied audiences, including written, spoken, and presentation preparation

- Direct experience with contract management, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry

- Experience with special access programs

- Professional certifications such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) are a plus.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

- US Citizenship required, candidate must hold a Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible), and successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

- Working knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS)

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
