TMC Technologies Software Engineer in King George, Virginia
Job Description
TMC Technologies is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team supporting the mission of the Naval Surface Warfare Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). The TMC team provides development and maintenance of tactical initiatives and baseline developments in support of Naval Weapons Systems /Combat Systems (e.g. AEGIS, Aegis BMD, FMS, etc). The Computer Program Engineering Services (CPES) provided include support for Weapon System Element and Combat System Domain Engineering, Fleet and Land Based Test Site Support.
Tasking for the Software Engineer includes:
Performance of software upgrades and maintenance to training system program(s)
Write and perform test procedures
Perform root cause analysis through code and data analysis
Perform code inspections
Relevant technologies include:
Java and Ada
Gitlab
Agile
Netbeans and Eclipse
Linux
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.)
Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance (US Citizenship)
Programming experience in Java and/or Ada
Must be able to work on site full-time in Dahlgren, VA
Linux experience is desired
Combat System experience is desired
AEGIS testing experience is desired
