The Cinema Operator is responsible for overseeing the operation of cinema equipment, ensuring the smooth running of movie screenings, and delivering excellent customer service to guests. This role involves managing projection systems, handling ticketing, and maintaining a clean and welcoming cinema environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Film Projection: Operate and monitor cinema projection and sound systems to ensure high-quality film presentations. Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during screenings.
- Ticketing and Guest Service: Assist guests with ticket purchases, provide information about showtimes and movie options, and address any customer inquiries or issues.
- Maintenance: Perform regular checks and maintenance on cinema equipment, including projectors and sound systems, and report any malfunctions or required repairs.
- Cleaning and Upkeep: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cinema auditorium, lobby, and concession areas, including post-screening cleanups.
- Emergency Procedures: Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures to address any incidents or evacuations as needed.
- Customer Experience: Enhance the overall guest experience by ensuring a friendly and efficient service, and by creating a welcoming and enjoyable cinema environment.
