Summary of Position:
This job acts as Technical Director to the Drama and Music production process. The incumbent also assists in installation and monitoring of art exhibitions and assists in general maintenance of studio labs, theater, and music facilities.
Minimum Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED Required.
Minimum Required Experience:
Minimum 1 year paid work experience in related area is required or certification relevant trade school (30 college credits) and six months wage earning experience required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge (or the ability to research and self-start) in use of CTC sound and light systems.
- Demonstrated ability to handle props, sets, and other material needs of the department in an efficient and productive manner.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain schedules and be highly reliable.
- Ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Must be flexible and available for some evenings/weekends with an adjusted schedule.
- Ability to adhere to a 40 hour work week.
Hours:
Full-time, indicate working hours - Mon-Thur 7:30-5:30 Fri 7:30-11:30, Other - flexible schedule required during productions
