Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - Mon-Thu 7:30-5:30 Fri 730-1130

Summary of Position

This position performs general administrative work for the Vice Chancellor Finance and Administration. The incumbent liaises both within and outside the division, and coordinates and supports the implementation of policies and procedures for division as a whole. The position also provides administrative support to the Marketing department.

Minimum Required Education

High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education preferred.

Minimum Required Experience

High school diploma and 10 years of administrative experience or Associates Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education with three years of administrative experience required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Ability to learn new software programs such as Ellucian Colleague, Eagle Self Service, Etrieve Forms, PeopleAdmin, including AI tools.

  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to interact effectively with the public, Board of Trustees, Executive Officers and all levels of employees.

  • Ability to self-start various projects, set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information.

  • Willingness to be a “team player” for the success of the entire division.

  • Punctuality and record of superior attendance.

  • Willingness to take direction from supervisor, while still operating somewhat independently.

  • Ability to utilize pivot tables, perform data analysis, present and summarize data, and develop and review leadership presentations.

  • High attention to detail
