We currently have six manufacturing facilities located in Clonmel, Cootehill, Donegal, Longford and Sligo and a third-party manufacturing management operation in Sligo. Diabetes Care Kilkenny

Our new manufacturing facility in Kilkenny, reflects the growing demand for Abbott's global Diabetes Care products. The facility will be a centre for world-class engineering, quality, medical device manufacturing, and other science-based professionals to produce life-changing technologies that enable people with diabetes to live the best and fullest lives they can. At Abbott in Kilkenny, you can shape your career as you help shape the future of healthcare.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supervises professionals in implementing and maintaining pharmaceutical/biological processes

• Calculates and organizes all data for process flow sheets

• Models processes and units operations

• Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such variables as temperature, density, pressure and viscosity

• Services, troubleshoots, and solves engineering problems with processes or equipment already in operation

• Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations

How does this role fit into the organisation:

You will report to sterilisation process engineering lead, Allan Martinez Rivas. His team has 13 members.

What we’re looking for:

• Level 7 qualification in a related discipline

• Previous people management experience

• Previous project management experience
