What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

As shipping lead you will supervise the daily operations of the shipping department and finished goods warehouse, ensuring all goods are stored and shipped efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of shipping team and the finished goods warehouse

• Ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared in line with country specific shipping requirements

• Maintaining records of all dispatched goods

• Scheduling of transport for shipments

• Ensure inventory accuracy in finished goods warehouse and investigate any discrepancies

• Ensure cycle count procedures are followed in line with company policy

• Ensure 5S is maintained in the finished goods warehouse

• Implementation and leadership of process improvement projects

• Maintain relationships with logistics partners to ensure efficient shipping solutions

• Resolve any shipping-related queries or issues

• Maintaining and updating work instructions and SOP’s for shipping department

Qualifications/experience:

• 3rd Level Degree in Supply Chain, Business Engineering or similar

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role

• Previous experience in warehouse/shipping operations

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite

• SAP experience preferred but not essential

What is the leadership like for this role?

This role reports Kevin Walters, our Supply Chain Manager.

You will join Kevin's growing team team of 10 that Warehouse Lead, Planning Lead and Customs and Logistics Analyst.
