Summary You will serve as an Equipment Specialist (Electrical and Ordnance) in the Lightweight In-Service Engineering Logistics Branch of Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA). Responsibilities You will assist Engineering in all phases of operational and maintenance of Lightweight Torpedoes (LWT) Support and Test Equipment. You will review, analyze, and evaluate deficiency and failure reports. You will investigate unprecedented major Support and Test Equipment deficiencies. You will provide on-site maintenance assistance on installed LWT Support and Test Equipment as required for support of LWT production and maintenance. You will provide technical expertise for the development of technical policy. You will apply logical approach to solve complex technical and programmatic problems. You will review equipment performance against standards, rated capacity and maintenance history on Navy unique and commercial Support and Test Equipment to support LWT maintenance and production. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing design and operating conditions of equipment or facilities to provide economic, efficient, and safe techniques or criteria to resolve problems as they relate to lightweight torpedoes.
