Responsibilities

Performs all activities of a log scaler with the required progression to Scaler Advanced status within 2 years. Operation of all equipment contained within the lumber log yards. General duties will include but not be limited to log scaling, unloading of log trucks, log roll out/decking, mill feeding, machine operation, water truck operation, log deck maintenance, and other yard duties as needed.

Basic Qualifications

Log scaling experience required. Must be willing to work all shifts and overtime as requested. Hours may vary depending upon work load and season.

Preferred Qualifications

Class A CDL license preferred.
