A Home Health Care company, located in Dayton, is in need of a Records Specialist to support their busy, growing office! The Records Specialist will be assisting the Medical Records Department with patient accounts. The Records Specialist will be responsible for requesting health records, obtaining appropriate signatures on key documents, logging information, keying patient information in their EMR system, tracking information in Microsoft Excel, preparing information to be mailed out, and calling physicians' offices to get signatures for bills to be sent out for payment. There will be other general office duties as assigned. The ideal Records Specialist candidate will have some Customer Service Experience, strong data entry skills, strong initiative, and willingness to take on additional projects. This is a potential contract to permanent opportunity, working 8:15am -5pm Monday-Friday. For immediate consideration contact Alison at 937-224-8326.

Requirements

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• 2+ years' experience of demonstrated performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment preferred

• Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Ability to use multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

• Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
