Janitor

PeopleReady of Kettering, OH is now hiring Janitors! As a Janitor, you will be responsible for all basic cleaning in and around residences or office buildings.We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Janitor.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15.50 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Janitor:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse facility.  

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming warehouse floors

• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas

• Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly

• Dusting shelves, racks, and other surfaces

• Cleaning windows, doors, and entryways

• Performing minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor plumbing issues

• Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies

• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Available shifts:

Shift timings -  1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting

• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects

• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others

• High School Diploma or GED

• Background check and drug screening required
