PeaceHealth Orthopedic Surgeon - Per Diem in Ketchikan, Alaska

Description

Ideal Candidate

· Board Certified/Eligible Orthopedic MD/DO

· Background/interest in Total Joint Arthroplasty (knee, hip, shoulder)

· At least one-year post-training experience preferred

· Interest in a unique, rural practice in beautiful Southeast Alaska

Practice Highlights

· Ketchikan’s unique setting lends itself to a variety of cases; all ages (mostly adult)

· Good OR capabilities where extensive procedures can be done

· 2 trained Casting Techs

· Team of 2 surgeons and 1 PA with strong RN support

· 1:1 MA support

· Schedule consists of 2 clinic days and 2 OR days

· Collaboration between OR and clinic is solid

· Epic EHR

Department/Location Specific Notes:

· Certification in BLS, ACLS, or PALs required as a condition of employment within 30 days of hire.

Compensation & Benefits

· Hourly Relief/Per Diem Rate: $418.24/hr

· Medical malpractice coverage and tail coverage

· Airfare, lodging, transportation are covered
