If providing hope and healing through compassionate, innovative, and individualized care interest you, we welcome your application for the position below.The Clerk II functions as a member of the Information Management department and works under the supervision of the Information Management Director with limited latitude for the use if initiative judgment to help assure the department operates efficiently and all work is performed according to the standards. Provides technical, clerical, and administrative support services to the Information Management Department. The Information Management Clerk routinely performs the following tasks within well-defined guidelines: data entry and retrieval, prepares and files routine reports, collects and organizes employee data, creates and maintains files, as well as other related work as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agencyand#146;s obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location. Essential Job FunctionsAttends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.Performs clerical duties to include, but not limited to, office supply management, answering phones, taking messages, filing, copying, faxing, emailing, calendar management, preparing routine reports, and performing data entry and retrieval for the Information Management Department.Initiates and submits all required paperwork for Electronic Health Record access.Resets Avatar passwords as needed.Creates work tickets to be submitted to IT related to new accounts and access changes.Creates and maintains employee files as required, including following retention schedule.Ensures all employees have photo ID badge in adherence with policy.Maintains annual training as well as any required department specific training.Works with time sensitive special projects.Performs other duties as assigned. Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location.Registrations, Licensure Requirements or CertificationsIf required to drive a state vehicle, must possess a valid Texas driver license or obtain it no later than 90 days after hire date to drive a state vehicle. Applicants with an out-of-state driver license must provide an original certified driving record from the state of driving licensure.
