Safran Landing Systems, worldwide company, search a Suppliers Quality Industrialization Project & Validation Leader on a large perimeters of components Casted, Molded and Machined parts.

As a member of the External Industrialization team, you will work for both divisions Wheels & Brakes (WB) et Systems & Equipments (SE) from Safran Landing Systems (SLS), your missions will be to :

  • manage external industrialization in regards of the quality/cost/delay objectives

  • manage the industrial validation for new products and transfers, in order to sustainably guarantee products conformity

Additional Description

To achieve this mission you will have to realize the following activities:

  • focal point in front of the supplier, ensure the management and the coordination of all actions in SLS and in the supplier

  • identify & manage the project risks

  • manage the action plan according to SAFRAN requirements, including over stock management to protect the production, DVI approval

  • accountable on the planning respect

  • realize the flash report and manage SLS internal communication

  • manage and approve the DVI (Validation Industrialization Document) according to milestones of the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) (include risk analysis, FMEA, milestone approval…)

  • coordinate the activities of concurrent engineering with suppliers

  • challenge according to the risk evaluation the supplier DVI file to guarantee the product quality. Bring a methodologic support to the supplier, ensure the supplier mastered its manufacturing and inspection processes, mastered the tier 2 suppliers during the industrialization phase

  • manage the supplier concessions and associéted action plan during the industrialization, with the target to eradicate reoccurrence

  • bring a technical expertise on design and manufacturing processes, with the support of the manufacturing engineering or engineering if needed, during the quotation, industrialization and serial phases

  • work closely with Supplier Performance Quality Manager, Supplier Quality Flow, Engineering and Special Process teams

Cause Analysis, SPC, MSA, 8D, …)

  • Cross Functionnal work skills in a multi-disciplinary environment, leadership, rigorous,

autonomy, communication skills, project mode working skills, skills to cooperate with a

supplier.
