The proprietary technology combines the tactile gratification of in-store shopping with a content-rich online experience.
*Job Summary: *
The Store Ambassador is a full time , non-exempt role responsible for providing world-class customer service by introducing shoppers to a new contactless, fast and easy way to shop. You are the face of the company on the ground; hence your performance will drive a successful experience for all stakeholders - shoppers, retailers and Veeve teams. This role is critical to the company’s success!
*Essential Functions: *
You will greet and introduce shoppers to our smart cart as they enter the store. The idea is to capture the customer’s attention and educate them about this new way to shop. The introduction might look something like this:
Greet customers upon entry
Direct customers to the cart
Explain how it works
Sanitize the cart
Provide excellent customer service
*Requisite Abilities and/or Skills: *
Must be customer obsessed
Must have high energy and enthusiasm
Must be able to travel occasionally
* Minimum Education and/or Experience: *
One to three years of related retail experience
Possess good basic math skills
Accurate counting skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; i.e., Excel, Outlook
*Additional Job Requirements: *
Performs additional job duties as assigned
Ability to lift and push bulky items independently
Ambassador Resources \u0026amp; Daily Operations - As a Store Ambassador, you’ll be equippedwith a handheld tablet with Veeve’s Associate App (AA). The AA will let you remotely gainaccess to any cart in the store and provide you the necessary notifications to run operationssmoothly. You will be responsible for tasks such as but not limited to managing customerinteractions, troubleshoot issues, cart operations, and bagging if needed.
Feedback Loop - Since you will be on the ground and performing hands-on operations, you willprovide feedback to our internal teams so we can improve customer experience and streamlinestore operations. The quality of your feedback will help us improve our service offerings whichwill eventually make your job easier. We encourage you to be proactive and collect customerfeedback as much as possible. Occasionally, you will test new cart features in-store andin-office, collect feedback and help with SKU data collection.
